  Duties

                      

 

  • Planning detail imports, exports and transhipment container operations to allow efficient stacking, rail, vessel and traffic operations.

 

  • Use the programs Sparcs, Navis and N4 to effectively plan the container stowage layout according to the correct stack weights on the vessel

 

  • Prepare accounts for miscellaneous services.

 

  • Responsible for the production of an effective working plan to ensure maximum terminal throughput and minimize Vessel turnaround time.

 

  • Operational performance and profitability.

 

  • Creates vessel files with all relevant documents/information

 

  • Interfaces with Transnet National Ports Authority.

 

  • Liaise with cargo and vessel agents regarding requirements and activities completed.
