Attached M/s Arab Geophysical Exploration Services Co. In Libya to look after their warehouse in the same manner.

HISTORY:-

I started my career with American World Renewed organization M/s Geophysical Service Incorporated, Houston, Dallas, USA, in the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia and worked in different countries, Middle-East, Europe and Africa.

I joined GSI in November 1977, as a Warehouse Incharge Dhahran (KSA) till 1982.By virtue the management made me responsible to establish similar type of a Warehouse in Muscat, (OMAN). I have accomplished new store with fresh supply from abroad and continued my job as “Warehouse Material Coordinator” Up to 1987.

I was again asked to re-organize the Warehouse I (MERSIN) Turkey. I was given a plan with necessary direction. I have accepted the challenge and assured the management to carry out to best of my ability. I put my personal efforts and completed the entire work in a manner desired and continued my service as Warehouse Inventory Controller  till November 1990.

Again my services were transferred to Halliburton Geophysical Service in (Tripoli) Libya. Joint venture of M/s Arab Geophysical Exploration Services Co, as Material Controller and continued till September, 2014.

In all; my total service about 35 years in American Oil Exploration and Seismic Co.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  • All types related to Oil/Gas Instruments & Materials including Seismic & Drilling Chemicals/ Equipment’s were stored in the Warehouse after complete inspection and through checking according to suppliers invoice.
  • Enter in the computer as well in stock register.
  • In case of any shortage or damage of goods in transit to be informed to the insurance to conduct immediate survey and lodge the claim.
  • Being in charge of invoice Warehouse I have to see safety & protection of material given to my custody.
  • Checking of parts number and compare with the purchase order. Lifting of material and arrange stocking systematically in the warehouse.
  • Experience in writing technical material description after going through catalogue.

Finding Materials & Spares by description & coding through catalogue / spare parts manuals. All kinds of materials use in oil exploration.

  • Material receipt advise to be informed other departments.
  • Verification of supplier Invoice & compare with previous supply.
  • To notify import section about the material required on top priority basis. In case important & urgent parts request for Airlifting.
  • Statement of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Supply the materials to field crews by Trucks or by Aircraft. Arrange transport co,

to hire trucks & hire casual labors to lode materials on the trucks in time.

also consequently I prepared Delivery Notes with complete information to the customers.

  • Daily checking inventory & to forward copy to supervisor.
  • Issue of gate pass & inform the security staff to re-check the items mentioned therein.
  • Forecasting quarterly & yearly basis.
  • To arrange proper protection of heavy machinery’s lying in the open yard.
  • To look after 1500 staff (Field Crew) takes care of their food / boding & medical, security.
  • Night watchman to take care he should be informed orally.
  • Daily make a round of store yard and Warehouse & put the things properly.
  • Vigilant watch to the valuable articles.
  • Strict control to the staff members.
  • Welfare of staff members.
  • Daily briefing to the higher authority about stock.
  • Keeping in touch with other departments to know there in coming requirements.
  • To attend weekly meeting with the higher officers & keep the stock position.
