EIVA Appoints New Representative Again

An increasing, international demand for EIVA solutions has in the past two years led to the signing of nine representative contracts throughout the world.

Chile and Panama are included in the list of countries in which EIVA offers a local point of contact for offshore survey professionals looking to invest in high-end subsea software and hardware solutions. This week saw the signing of a contract appointing the company Casco Antiguo Oceanografía as EIVA representative in Chile and Panama.

‘With the distribution agreement between the two companies, Casco Antiguo Ocenografía complements its extensive range of equipment and can now offer a complete software suite for subsea survey and engineering. This agreement with EIVA delivers the important message to our customers that they can find the best products in our portfolio,’ said Wenceslao González-Garra, managing director of Casco Antiguo Oceanografía.

An expert in the hydrographic and oceanographic disciplines

Casco Antiguo Oceanografía is a subsidiary to the Casco Antiguo group, which has many years’ experience in providing diving equipment for commercial use. In 2010, the group chose to expand its activities to specialize in oceanography and hydrography as well.

This led to the establishment of Casco Antiguo Oceanografía. The company offers both software and hardware to oceanographic and hydrographic operations, including complementary products to those of EIVA.

‘We are happy to expand our network once again, thereby offering even more customers the possibility of turning to a local point of contact. Casco Antiguo Oceanografía is a very competent and progressive company, which, in a relative short time-span, has gained a solid footprint in the Latin American market and has a strong understanding of its customer’s needs and requirements,’ said Area Sales Manager Søren Papendick Johansen.

The representative agreement covers all EIVA solutions, that is, both hardware and software.
