Ace Oil Tools Introduces Ace Splice Clamp
The oil and gas technology company Ace Oil Tools has launched its new Ace Splice Clamp to the completions market.Allowing multiple lines to be spliced with a single clamp, the ASC is a ‘sub-less’ downhole product that protects the control lines during completion, the company said."Combining the functionality of a shrouded crimp clamp, for locking flatpacks, with a splice sub into one single product, the Ace Splice Clamp accepts a flat-pack control line assembly," Ace Oil Tools said.According to the company, the design protects bare control lines and houses the splice blocks.
OSIL Supply US Antarctic Program with Multi Corer

Saab Control System for Collins Class Subs
Saab announced it has signed a A$24.2 million (US$18.5 million) contract with ASC for supply of an updated Integrated Ship Control Management and Monitoring System (ISCMMS) for four Royal Australian Navy Collins class submarines. Japan is confident it has proven itself the best contender to build Australia's new submarines, the French have moved to undermine Japan’s bid to build the navy’s new submarines. Contract Award for the Longest HVDC Route Survey
MMT (Sweden) has been awarded a contract for the world’s longest HVDC route survey for the UK-Iceland Interconnector by Atlantic Superconnection Corporation (ASC). MMT will provide bathymetric and geophysical mapping along the entire route corridor, between Iceland to England. MMT and Reach Subsea have just mobilized the Surveyor Interceptor ROV onboard Stril Explorer that will conduct the seabed survey on the deepest part of the route.
