Rever Offshore Names MacLeod CEO

Subsea services provider Rever Offshore, formerly Bibby Offshore, said on Monday it has appointed Barry MacLeod as its new chief executive officer, replacing Mark Bessell, who stepped down from the role last month, for personal reasons.MacLeod’s appointment builds on eight years’ experience as board director of the company. Double Bibby Win for MDL

Maritime Developments (MDL) has won a flex lay project with Bibby Offshore just after completing an umbilical installation with the EPIC contractor.The recently concluded project in a North Sea gas field used the MDL RDS-400, a 400-mertic-ton reel drive system, operated by MDL offshore personnel and supported by the company’s 3mradius departure chute. Bibby Bags North Sea Contract

Bibby Offshore won a two-phase multimillion dollar contract with a leading oil and gas and production company.    The contract, awarded in April, will see Bibby Offshore carry out IRM services across a number of the operators North Sea assets. Bibby Offshore Bags Spirit Energy Contract

Offshore Groups Bibby, Rever Merge

The U.K.’s Bibby Offshore will merge with Norwegian firm Rever Offshore AS in a move targeting opportunities in the diving and subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF) markets. The transaction has been agreed and is expected to close soon, announced Bibby owner Fara Holdco Limited. Bibby Offshore Scores Contract Hat-Trick with Supermajor

Bibby Offshore: BP North Sea Projects completed

 Bibby Offshore has completed a contract worth more than £2million for BP in the North Sea.  The project, completed in December 2017, utilised Bibby Offshore’s diving support vessel Bibby Topaz to carry out inspection, repair and maintenance operations in the Rhum gas field, approximately 380 kilometres north-east of Aberdeen.   The scope included control system low insulation resistance diagnostics and component replacements, manual valve operations and ROV inspection works at BP’s Bruce platform, which is located 44 kilometres south of Rhum.   The project

Bibby Offshore Recapitalization Completed

Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore Holdings Limited said it has completed the recapitalization of its balance sheet announced on December 5, 2017.   The agreement to recapitalize the balance sheet was approved January 10 by 98.7 percent of noteholders of the £175 million (approximately $243 million) 7.5 percent senior secured notes, and makes noteholders the new owners of the group.   “The completion of the recapitalization will be transformational for Bibby Offshore and is a major milestone for our business,” said Howard Woodcock, chief executive of Bibby Offshore.

Bibby Offshore Completes Maersk Oil UK Contract

 Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore said it has completed a multimillion dollar contract with Maersk Oil UK, providing subsea structure and pipeline inspection support in the UKCS.    The four-week campaign, completed in October this year, saw Bibby Offshore’s subsea support and construction vessel Olympic Bibby operate across Maersk Oil’s Gryphon and Dumbarton fields. The work scope was also supported by Bibby Offshore’s project management team based in Westhill, Aberdeen.

Sinclair Joins M2 Subsea

Bibby Subsea Completes Decommissioning Work for Shell

Bibby Offshore’s Houston-based division, Bibby Subsea, has completed a significant contract with Shell Pipeline, a subsidiary of Shell Oil US.   Through its strategic alliance with U.S. diving company, Aqueos Corporation, Bibby Subsea completed the subsea decommissioning project in the Gulf of Mexico, utilizing its diving support vessel (DSV) Bibby Sapphire. Bibby Offshore Wraps up North Sea Work

Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore said it continues to strengthen its presence in the North Sea with the completion of two further contracts with oil and gas majors, Perenco and Endeavour Energy UK    Perenco appointed Bibby Offshore to perform subsea integrity inspections and maintenance works on the Inde Joint pipeline, which runs to the Bacton Gas Terminal in the Southern North Sea. Bibby Completes Decommissioning Work for Maersk Oil UK

Bibby Offshore, a subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has announced a multimillion dollar contract with a global energy player Maersk Oil UK to provide late life production enhancement and decommissioning support in the North Sea.     The contract saw Bibby Offshore’s diving support vessel Bibby Polaris operate at two separate locations, undertaking production system isolations and critical component replacements to facilitate late life production enhancement, together with decommissioning support, which includes subsea deconstruction and infrastructure recovery.
