Boskalis Buys Rever Offshore's Subsea Services Business

Dutch marine contractor Boskalis on Monday acquired all the shares of Rever Offshore’s subsea services business.Rever, formerly known as Bibby Offshore, provides solutions in the area of subsea construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance. Rever Offshore Names MacLeod CEO

Subsea services provider Rever Offshore, formerly Bibby Offshore, said on Monday it has appointed Barry MacLeod as its new chief executive officer, replacing Mark Bessell, who stepped down from the role last month, for personal reasons.MacLeod’s appointment builds on eight years’ experience as board director of the company. Double Bibby Win for MDL

Maritime Developments (MDL) has won a flex lay project with Bibby Offshore just after completing an umbilical installation with the EPIC contractor.The recently concluded project in a North Sea gas field used the MDL RDS-400, a 400-mertic-ton reel drive system, operated by MDL offshore personnel and supported by the company’s 3mradius departure chute. Bibby Bags North Sea Contract

Bibby Offshore won a two-phase multimillion dollar contract with a leading oil and gas and production company.    The contract, awarded in April, will see Bibby Offshore carry out IRM services across a number of the operators North Sea assets. Bibby Offshore Bags Spirit Energy Contract

Offshore Groups Bibby, Rever Merge

The U.K.’s Bibby Offshore will merge with Norwegian firm Rever Offshore AS in a move targeting opportunities in the diving and subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF) markets. The transaction has been agreed and is expected to close soon, announced Bibby owner Fara Holdco Limited. Bibby Offshore Scores Contract Hat-Trick with Supermajor
