Well Drilling at Fogelberg Gas Discovery to Start in Feb/March

option for two additional wells.   The Fogelberg discovery was made in 2010 and is estimated to hold around 60 million barrels of oil equivalent. Production is scheduled to start in 2021.   Centrica Norway is the operator for the Fogelberg licence with an ownership share of 50 percent. Energy Firms Partner to Cut Costs in the North Sea

Petrofac, Faroe Petroleum and Eni Hewett have established a cost-saving partnership to drive efficiencies and commercial synergies across U.K. operations in the Southern North Sea.   The tripartite agreement sees collaboration between Petrofac (Duty Holder) and the respective equity owners and operators of the Hewett, Schooner and Ketch gas fields to share logistics and accommodation services across the facilities. Faroe Petroleum is operator and 60 percent equity holder in the Schooner and Ketch fields, and Eni Hewett is operator and 89 percent equity holder in the Hewett complex.   Faroe

Oil and Gas Discovered in Four Wells

potential exists within the licence and the operator has already started the planning for a new exploration well in PL586 in 2015. The discovery is located within tie-back distance (33km) of the Njord field. PL586 is operated by VNG Norge AS (30%) with partners Spike Exploration Holding AS (30%), Faroe Petroleum Norge AS (25%) and Rocksource Exploration Norway AS (15%). Cairngorm in P.1892/1214 on the UKCS Cairngorm appraisal well 16/3d-16z, located in licence P1892 in the UK North Sea, is in the process of being suspended, having encountered the expected fractured granite basement reservoir target
