McDermott Wraps Up Ichthys LNG Campaign
mega-projects rolled into one, involving some of the largest offshore facilities in the industry, a state-of-the-art onshore processing facility and a 890 kilometer pipeline uniting them for an expected operational life of 40 years. The project involves liquefying natural gas lifted from the Ichthys gas-condensate field offshore Western Australia at an onshore gas liquefaction plant constructed in Darwin, Northern Territory, and producing and shipping approximately 8.9 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and approximately 1.65 million tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) per year, along with approximatel

services as well as establishing a maintenance plan for all topside equipment. A Detailed Criticality Analysis and Maintenance Definition (DCAMD) strategy will be developed to cover high-criticality equipment with generic procedures being used for non-critical appliances. The Culzean gas condensate field has resources estimated at 250-300 million barrels of oil equivalent. Located in the Central North Sea, the high pressure, high temperature field is expected to commence production in 2019 and supply enough gas to meet 5 percent of total U.K. demand at its peak in 2020/21. Offshore Floating Production Market Update
units. In the later are 4 floating liquefaction plants and 10 regasification terminals. Current backlog includes an FPSO order placed in May. TH Heavy Engineering received an EPCI contract + 7 year lease with 3 year option from JX Nippon to supply an FPSO for the Layang gas/condensate field offshore Sarawak. The lease day rate is $144,500 over the initial firm period of the lease. The partially completed Deep Producer 1 will be used for the Layang project. This had been a speculative FPSO conversion contracted by FPSOcean with Dubai Drydocks in 2006.
Statoil Contract for Ocean Installer
Installer will utilize the construction support vessels (CSVs) Normand Mermaid, Normand Clipper and Normand Vision to undertake the offshore work. Gina Krog is an oil and gas field located approximately 30 km north of the Sleipner A installation in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The gas/condensate field Eirin is located 9 km north-west of Gina Krog. The water depth in the area is approximately 120 meter. The two fields are developed in parallel and start-up of production is foreseen for Q1 2017.The development of the Gina Krog and Eirin fields is one of Statoil’s new large developments

McDermott Acquires DeepSea
. The DeepSea brand will now have access to engineering services and capacity through McDermott’s 800 engineers worldwide, and will be well placed to expand its range of services offered to customers. McDermott is currently working offshore Australia managing the U.S. $2 billion Ichthys gas condensate field development for EPCI and pre-commissioning of 17,600 tons of subsea structures and equipment, umbilicals, risers and flowlines. Project teams are also executing the Gorgon Subsea project comprising more than 15,000-tons of structures for the North West Shelf in 4,429 feet of water. Offshore
