NKT to Link Edvard Grieg to Johan Sverdrup

NKT to Supply Shore Power Cables for Equinor

NKT has been awarded the turnkey project from Equinor for the 132 kV high-voltage cable connecting the oil and gas platforms Johan Sverdrup 2 and Gina Krog.Equinor has selected NKT as the turnkey supplier for the high-voltage cable project connecting the Norwegian offshore platforms in the North Sea. Johan Sverdrup Phase 2 Plan Approved

Relatchable Bend Stiffener Connector for Gina Krog FSO

Subsea connector specialist, First Subsea, has supplied a relatchable bend stiffener connector to NOV Completion & Production Solutions for a flexible production riser for Statoil’s Gina Krog, turret moored, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.   The API 17L-1 compliant, Type II bend stiffener connector (BSC) comprises a ball and taper connector attached to a bend stiffener, which is pulled into a pre-machined, compact J-tube built into the turret. Statoil Awards NOK 1.6 Billion Contracts

Norway A/S has been awarded contracts for pipe laying at Johan Sverdrup and Oseberg Vestflanken 2.  The combined contract value is approximately NOK 400 million. Scana to Deliver FSO Offloading System to Teekay

Scana Industrier ASA informs that its subsidiary Scana Offshore Vestby, has been awarded a contract to deliver an Offloading System to Teekay Shipping Norway AS for their FSO at the Gina Krog field in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The FSO will be based on a converted Shuttle Tanker in the Teekay Fleet.
