Fugro Gets Marine Survey Job at Indonesia’s LNG and CCS Scheme

INPEX Masela (INPEX), a subsidiary of INPEX Corporation, has awarded Fugro a significant marine survey contract for the Abadi liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Indonesia.Fugro will perform geophysical and geotechnical surveys needed to support front-end engineering design for offshore production facilities, the subsea pipeline to the onshore LNG terminal and CO2 injection infrastructure.Geo-data will be acquired using Fugro’s deepwater autonomous underwater vehicle Echo Surveyor 8 and a robotic seafloor drill, deployed from Indonesian support vessels.Fieldwork is expected to start in the

Inpex Wins Exploration Acreage Offshore Norway

Japan’s Inpex Corporation, through its unit Inpex Norge bagged two exploration licenses offshore Norway in Norway’s Awards in Predefined Areas (APA) 2018 licensing round.The PL1027is located in the western Barents Sea offshore and PL1016 is located in the northern Norwegian Sea offshore the Kingdom of Norway, it said in a statement.The annual APA licensing rounds aim to promote the further exploration of blocks in previously explored, mature areas by allowing tenders to be submitted for any acreage within predefined areas where licenses have not been awarded.The licenses provide the

Chevron, Pemex, Inpex Win Block in Mexico Deep Water Oil Auction

Mexico awarded a consortium of Chevron, Pemex and Inpex Corporation the third block tendered from the Gulf of Mexico's Perdido Fold Belt off the U.S.-Mexico maritime border in a historic deep water oil and gas auction on Monday.   Block 3 is a 651 square mile (1,686.9 square kilometer) block which the energy ministry says contains some 1.304 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) in light and extra light crude. JRI,MHI, INPEX Tie-up for METI's Feasibility Study

  The Japan Research Institute, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and INPEX CORPORATION have submitted a joint proposal in response to a public offer by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) on "Feasibility Study on CCS-EOR projects in Southern Mexico - FY2015 Global Warming Mitigation Technology Promotion Project (*1)". The feasibility study consortium has concluded a contract concerning the commissioned work with METI.
