ECA Group Awarded Sonatrach Contract

ECA Group said it has been awarded a €4 million service contract from the Algerian state-owned oil group Sonatrach for the Arzew natural gas liquefaction plant in Algeria.This contract of more than €4 million provides for the cleaning of the four seawater inlet galleries of the plant thanks to the VISIT submarine system of ECA Group. The powerful 6-ton vehicle equipped with hydraulic tools will clean all the walls of the pipes during Summer 2019.

Alaska LNG Project Chooses Terminal Location

ExxonMobil , BP, ConocoPhillips and TransCanada have selected a site in the Nikiski area on the Kenai Peninsula as the lead site for the proposed Alaska LNG project’s natural gas liquefaction plant and terminal. Shell US Gas & Power & Kinder Morgen subsidiary Southern Liquefaction Company to exploit LNG export opportunities. The two companies have announced their intent to form a limited liability company to develop a natural gas liquefaction plant in two phases at Southern LNG's existing Elba Island LNG Terminal, near Savannah, Ga.
