PSW Technology Secures 3-Year Deal with Norwegian Oil Firm for Capping Stack Services

Scana's PSW Technology has signed a frame agreement with an unnamed Norwegian oil and gas operator for Capping Stack & Support Services. The contract consists of a fixed period of 3 years with a 2+2-year option. The value of the frame agreement is defined as a sizable contract if both options are exercised.For Scana, a sizable contract is defined to be between NOK 20 million and NOK 50 million.The company will be responsible for the provision of capping stack and related well control equipment, and emergency response services. The contract period will start in the fourth quarter of 2023.

TAQA, Fugro in Europe's "First" Uncrewed Offshore Integrity Inspection

Wintershall Noordzee Deploys Wärtsilä Software to Boost Offshore Safety

Dutch offshore oil and gas operator Wintershall Nordzee has recently seen Wärtsilä's Navi-Harbour WebVTS 5.0 software application for its platform in the Dutch North Sea.The software features an early warning system to avoid allisions between the offshore platforms and vessels in their vicinity. It works by providing remote access to Automatic Identification System (AIS) or Vessel traffic Service (VTS) data sources to maintain constant and full situational awareness, using a standard internet browser. "The WebVTS decision support tools effectively mitigate potential marine

OPT Inks Deal with US Operator

Ocean energy solutions developer Ocean Power Technologies (OPT) said it has signed a master service contract governing work with an unnamed offshore oil and gas operator within the U.S. and the U.S. outer continental shelf, including the provision of goods and services.OPT president and CEO George H. Bibby Offshore Bags Spirit Energy Contract

Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore said it has secured a fixed term framework agreement with independent oil and gas operator Spirit Energy.Awarded in April, the two-year agreement, which follows on from a previous five-year agreement, will see Bibby Offshore carry out inspection repair and maintenance (IRM) works, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspection and subsea survey operations across a number of North Sea structures and pipelines.The project will utilize Bibby Offshore’s diverse fleet capabilities, including its multi-role diving and ROV support vessel, Bibby Sapphire, a Quasar

New Tool for Offshore Inspection
