Rosneft, Petrovietnam to Jointly Work in Pechora Sea
Rosneft, Russia's top oil producer, said on Friday it had agreed to set up a joint venture with Vietnamese state energy firm Petrovietnam to develop two shelf blocks in the Pechora Sea in the Arctic off northwest Russia. Rosneft will get a 66.67-percent stake in the joint venture, it added in a statement. Eni, PetroVietnam Ink Offshore Exploration Contract
Eni said on Thursday it had signed a new offshore exploration contract with PetroVietnam as the Italian oil and gas group moves to strengthen its presence in Vietnam. Eni said it had signed a Product Sharing Contract with state-owned PetroVietnam for exploration in the Phu Khanh Basin which will last 7 years.
