Bibby Offshore Begins Construction, IRM Campaign

Bibby Remote Intervention Expands Fleet

Bibby Remote Intervention Limited (BRIL), part of Aberdeen-based subsea installation contractor, Bibby Offshore, has further expanded its fleet by signing a charter agreement for an IRM (Inspection Repair and Maintenance) light construction vessel and adding an additional two ROVs (Remote Operating Vehicles) to its operations. The charter agreement with Olympic Shipping is for a newly built MT6021 vessel for a three year period, with options to extend for an additional two years. Bibby Reports Thriving Subsea Business

Bibby Offshore’s newest international division, Houston-based Bibby Subsea, said it has gone from strength to strength since its launch in October last year, having trebled the team in the past four months. Bibby Offshore Makes £30M Fleet Investment

Aberdeen-based subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has invested close to £30million in the past six months increasing its international fleet of subsea support vessels by 40%. Most recently, the company signed a contract to charter EDT Jane, a newbuild remotely operated vehicle support vessel (ROVSV). The company now boasts a fleet of eight vessels and 15 Remote Operating Vehicles (ROV). This dedicated ROVSV with full survey and inspection spread will be mobilized from April 2014 as part of a 180 day charter,  with options to extend for an additional three years.

Bibby Offshore Charters Construction Support Vessel

Aberdeen-based subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has signed a charter agreement for construction support vessel (CSV), the Olympic ARES. The agreement with Olympic Shipping will initially be a seasonal charter beginning at the end of Q1 2014 with options to extend.  The vessel will be mobilized with ROVs from Bibby Offshore’s sister company Bibby Remote Intervention Limited and the companies together with Olympic Shipping shall jointly market the vessel from when it arrives in Aberdeen this month. Bibby Subsea Expands in Houston

As part of its continuing global growth strategy, subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has announced the opening of a new division and international base in Houston. Bibby Renews Contract with Talisman Sinopec Energy U.K.

Aberdeen-based subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has secured a contract extension worth in excess of £100 million,with Talisman Sinopec Energy UK. A further three years with a one year extension option has been signed, making this the longest fixed term contract to be secured by Bibby Offshore. Aberdeen based subsea installation contractor, Bibby Offshore has announced  a £10,000 sponsorship deal with Scottish auto racing driver, Gordon "Flash" Shedden. Edinburgh-born, Gordon became the third Scot to win the British Touring Car Championship last year and is part of the Honda Yuasa Racing team. He currently holds the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Drivers’ championship title.
