iSURVEY Scores Lundin Norway Contract

Survey and positioning services provider iSURVEY informs it has been awarded a contract to  perform a drilling hazard survey campaign in the North Sea and in the Barents Sea, on behalf of Lundin Norway.Work commences in June, with a seabed geological survey and continues with the series of drilling hazard surveys, which are planned to continue into the autumn.The Norwegian-headquartered surveyor called the contract one of its most significant to date.

iSURVEY Completes Nord Stream 2 Survey

Survey and positioning services provider iSURVEY said it has completed a 30-day geophysical seabed survey for offshore pipelay and subsea construction company Allseas.The project team set out to identify obstructions and hazardous seabed features over a 40-kilometer section of route survey in the German Baltic prior to forthcoming pipelay anchoring and mooring operations for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project.Taking on a vessel charter, the iSURVEY team had full contract responsibility for the vessel, marine, survey, processing and reporting elements of the entire scope – a first for the group.

iSURVEY Completes Industry First Project for Norske Shell

iSURVEY, a provider of survey and positioning services to the global oil and gas, offshore renewables and telecommunications markets, has completed a pioneering project for A/S Norske Shell.  The project, which took place last month as part of the operator’s Scarabeo 8 drilling campaign, utilized iSURVEY’s survey support remotely from its Oslo headquarter. iSURVEY Investing in Training

iSURVEY, a provider of survey and positioning services to the global oil and gas, offshore renewables and telecommunications markets, said it has invested more than £40,000 in staff training.    In order to meet client demand, iSURVEY staff were educated in rapid and accurate acquisition and processing of seabed survey data, the company said.   During February and March, the staff gained a deeper understanding and awareness of the key elements of multi-beam echo sounder (MBES) acquisition and data management. iSURVEY Announces New Contract Awards

iSURVEY, a provider of survey and positioning services to the global oil and gas, offshore renewables and telecommunications markets, said it ended 2017 with contract awards totalling more than £250,000 ($345,000).   This work, which was awarded in the last two months of 2017, included two subsea cable excavation projects and a UXO inspection scope. Each of the projects involved offshore wind-related scopes in either U.K. or Northwest Europe, which have contributed to iSURVEY’s sustained growth in the offshore renewables marke, the company said.   

UTEC Bags TechnipFMC Contract in Australia

UTEC said it has been won a contract from Technip Oceania Pty Ltd, part of TechnipFMC in Australia, to provide survey and positioning services on the Greater Enfield Project, offshore Western Australia.   The work scope includes pre-lay surveys; onshore dimensional control; survey and positioning associated with installation of rigid and flexible flowlines, umbilicals, jumpers, flying leads and subsea structures; as-laid surveys, as-built surveys and final reporting.   The Greater Enfield Project will develop the Laverda Canyon, Norton over Laverda (WA-59-L) and Cimatti (WA-28-L) oil
