
Trelleborg Suite Supplied to Prelude FLNG
Trelleborg’s marine systems operation has supplied a suite of products to Shell’s Prelude FLNG facility, the largest offshore facility ever constructed. Prelude, which is 488 meters long, 74 meters wide, and made with more than 260,000 tons of steel, will extract and liquefy natural gas from a site in North West Australia. Trelleborg Acquires Marimatech
Trelleborg has, through its business area Trelleborg Offshore & Construction, signed an agreement to acquire Marimatech A/S, a Danish company that designs and manufactures advanced marine positioning and piloting systems, primarily specializing in the development of software used for docking and mooring ships offshore and in ports. Trelleborg Names RPS Evans-Hamilton Service Partner
Trelleborg will provide a local presence for onsite marine services in North America, Central America and the Caribbean by appointing RPS Evans-Hamilton as Service Partner for the Docking and Mooring division of Trelleborg Marine Systems for these regions. Under the agreement, RPS Evans-Hamilton will be the sole provider of aftersales services for Trelleborg’s docking and mooring systems. The product portfolio includes Quick Release Hooks (QRHs) and Capstans, the Smart Dock family of docking aid systems (DAS), Environmental and Met Ocean systems, together with integrated control and monitoring.
