Wood Group Lands Prelude Deal

Wood Group has secured a three year contract with Shell Australia’s Prelude, Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project. Perth-based Wood Group Kenny will provide specialist consultancy services for flexible riser integrity management prior to and during operation of Prelude FLNG, which will be located 475km north-north east of Broome in Western Australia. The focus of the contract will be the development and implementation of the flexible riser integrity management plan, as well as inspection, monitoring, testing and on call engineering support. Wood Group Wins Browse FEED Contract

  Wood Group has secured its second front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for the proposed Browse floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) Development offshore Western Australia. Under the new contract with Woodside, effective immediately, Wood Group Kenny (WGK) will progress the configuration design of the flexible risers and umbilicals for the asset’s offshore gas-condensate fields - Brecknock, Calliance and Torosa. Wood Group Bags KPOC Pipeline Deal

  Wood Group Kenny (WGK) will support the Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company (KPOC) in pipeline engineering and flow assurance engineering studies for the Kamansu East (KME) field offshore Sabah, Malaysia. The scope of work will include concept select studies and definition engineering on subsea heating options, thus preventing hydrates, for the 30km gas pipeline which runs from the KME field in 750 meters of water to their new shelf edge Kebabangan platform. OSRCL Inks Maintanence Deal with Wood Group

  Wood Group Kenny (WGK) has secured a five year contract with Oil Spill Response (Capping) Ltd (OSRCL) to provide the maintenance support for a key part of a containment toolkit that would be used to control hydrocarbon release in the event of a subsea well control incident.   The multi-million dollar project will see WGK work with OSRCL to ensure that the flexible flowlines included in the toolkit are continuously in a condition suitable for immediate load out if mobilised by subscribing oil and gas operators.
