New Mini Inspection Class ROV: The Endura

Aquabotix, a marine technology company delivering the accessibility of today’s electronics products to the world of underwater ROVs, announced the availability of the Endura. The Endura has been engineered for dependability and functionality across a wide range of underwater applications, Aquabotix said. 
 
Endura is easy to use: ready for the water in three minutes, basic driver competency is developed in about three hours with professional proficiency achieved in three days. Endura is intelligent, with a full computer is built inside the vehicle and auto controls are available in the software. Endura is also high performance, with hydrodynamic design for ultimate control in the water and powered by high torque motors for up to five knots of thrust.
 
The Endura configuration includes five precision high torque motors; a sensor package including depth, temperature, digital compass and leak detector; 1080 p true HD quality camera with tilt; 60 m of neutrally buoyant tether (extensions available); depth rating 100m (also available with 300 m depth rating); six pounds of payload capacity for customer specific applications; high intensity LED lighting of 4,400 lumens.
 
Endura operates on lithium battery technology with a standard operational run time of four hours. Available as an option, AC power can be used for continuous operation. Other options include side-scan, scanning or multibeam sonar; GPS, DVL, USBL, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite communications; environmental sensors; fish plow, laser scaler, manipulator arm; and 360 degree rotating/ 180 degree tilt camera.

Endura pricing starts at $17,000 and is currently available for order from Aquabotix.
