The bi-annual MTS/IEEE OCEANS conference returns to Aberdeen, Scotland – June 19 to 22, 2017, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre – with a focus on energy and offshore renewables.

OCEANS’17 Aberdeen will be the 60th Occurrence of the event. First presented in 1970 in Seattle OCEANS has become established worldwide as one of the major proponents of marine engineering, technology and science education.

The event also marks the second time that OCEANS has come to the U.K., both hosted in Aberdeen, a major maritime and offshore energy hub.

Neil Gordon CEO of Subsea UK and Dr. Gordon Drummond of NSRI will kick off the conference’s plenary session and take the opportunity to underline “A vision to sustaining our marine futures”.  Major topics in the Aberdeen OCEANS are marine energy and renewables.
