Custom ROV Solution for Stinger Technology
Stinger Technology AS has taken delivery of a customized Seaeye Falcon ROV to be used for offshore subsea operations under a contract awarded by Dong Energy. The assignment includes environmental sampling and inspection inside the oil storage tank of the Siri platform. Siri is located in block 5604/20 in the north-western part of Denmark’s North Sea sector, about 220 kilometers off the Danish coast. Production on the Siri platform first started in 1999.
SEA Installs New Tech for Biscay Marine Energy Park
Cohort plc subsidiary SEA has utilized its advanced power connection technology to install a 13.2kV cable connection in support of the Oceantec wave energy device located at the Biscay Marine Energy Park (Bimep) test site in Northern Spain. Bimep tests prototype devices for generating wave energy in advance of commercial production to ensure economic and technological readiness and that they are reliable and safe for commercial deployment.

Hawaiki Transpacific Cable Set for Installation
The undersea fiber-optic cable and equipment for the 14,000 km Hawaiki transpacific cable system have been manufactured and are in the final stages of being loaded aboard cable laying vessels for deployment to beginning in early October. The Hawaiki submarine cable system, owned and developed Hawaiki Submarine Cable LP, will link Australia and New Zealand to the mainland United States, as well as Hawaii and American Samoa, with options to expand to additional South Pacific islands.
