Hunting Buys Enpro Subsea

Energy services group Hunting has said it has completed the acquisition of Enpro Subsea for $33 million.Hunting said Friday that, apart from the $33 million, the consideration also includes a potential maximum earn-out of US$3.0m based on EBITDA performance in 2020.Founded in 2011, Enpro is being acquired from members of the Enpro management team and Energy Ventures Private Equity, Hunting said.Based in Aberdeen, UK, Enpro provides subsea production technology for the offshore oil and gas industry. The company’s technology has so far been deployed in the North Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and

Enpro Subsea Completes Ghana Campaigns

Production optimization specialist Enpro Subsea said it has recently completed another two subsea hydraulic intervention campaigns for two operators in West Africa. Operations were conducted from a single multi-services support vessel, which was mobilized out of Takoradi in Ghana.  The first of the two campaigns saw Enpro’s Flow Intervention Services (FIS) team deliver scale squeeze operations on five separate subsea wells via a modified choke insert in 1,800 meters water depth. BP Partners with Enpro on FAM Technology

BP and Enpro Subsea have executed a Global Frame Agreement aimed at providing an enhanced subsea architecture and smart standardization using Flow Access Module (FAM) technology to enable fast track, capital efficient subsea tiebacks.Enpro said its patented FAM technology supplied to BP on the Kepler K3 project in the Gulf of Mexico to enable project specific technologies to be seamlessly added to BP’s standard subsea trees and manifolds. Enpro Testing New FIS Technology

Aberdeen-based production optimization specialist Enpro Subsea announced that the £1.5 million investment project in its Flow Intervention Services (FIS) technology, which included a £755,000 research and development grant from Scottish Enterprise, has started onshore testing ahead of planned subsea field trials later this year.The company had previously developed a lower pressure (10kpsi) version of their tool and this investment has allowed them to develop the higher rated (15kpsi) version, extending its operating capabilities to support high pressure wells, common in Gulf of Mexico.
