Helix Secures Five-Year Decommissioning Contract in Gulf of Mexico

extension of its decommissioning contract with Trident Energy for work offshore Brazil. Helix Secures Deepwater Well Intervention Contract in West Africa

U.S.-based oil and gas services firm Helix Energy Solutions has been awarded a deepwater well intervention contract award by Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria (Esso) at Erha and Usan fields, offshore Nigeria.The project is expected to start in September 2024 with the vessel scheduled to be in Nigeria into 2025.The Erha and Usan fields - developed by Esso, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Nigeria - are located approximately 97 kilometers offshore of Nigeria in water depths ranging from 700 to 1,500 meters.Under the contract, Helix will provide the Q4000, a DP3 riser-based semi-submersible well interventi

ExxonMobil Taps TechnipFMC for Uaru Subsea Production System

TechnipFMC announced Tuesday it has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited to supply the subsea production system for the Uaru project offshore Guyana.The award covers 44 subsea trees and associated tooling, as well as 12 manifolds and associated controls and tie-in equipment. TechnipFMC said it will provide project management, engineering and manufacturing to deliver the overall subsea production system.TechnipFMC did not give a dollar figure for the contract, but described it as "large", in the range of  $500 million to $1 billion.

TechnipFMC Wins Contract for Gas to Energy Project in Guyana

Oilfield services firm TechnipFMC announced it has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited for the Gas to Energy Project in Guyana.Subject to final project sanction, TechnipFMC will provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea risers and pipelines. The project will connect the production from Liza Destiny and Liza Unity floating production, storage and offloading units (FPSO) back to shore, delivering associated gas from the field to a gas-fired power plant that will supply electricity to the community.ExxonMobil

Saipem Wins Subsea Contract in Guyana

Italian oilfield services firm Saipem said it has been awarded a subsea contract by ExxonMobil subsidiary Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL) for the proposed Payara development project located in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana at a water depth of around 2,000 meters. The contract scope includes subsea structures, risers and flowlines.Saipem was awarded earlier subsea contracts for the first two phases of the Liza development in Guyana by EEPGL in 2017 and in 2018, respectively.Subject to government approvals, project sanction by EEPGL and its partners HESS Guyana Exploration
