enable the capture of CO2-rich dense gases directly from the well stream, moving part of the separation process from the topside platform to the sea floor. In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emission intensity, HISEP technologies increase production capacity by debottlenecking the topside gas processing plant. These technologies are supported by Petrobras and its partners in the Libra Consortium. The Libra Consortium consists of Petrobras as operator (38.6%), Shell Brasil Petróleo (19.3%), TotalEnergies EP Brasil (19.3%), CNOOC Petroleum Brasil (9.65%), CNODC Brasil Petróleo e Gas

Minister for Petroleum and Energy in November 2022.The Irpa gas discovery, sitting in the Norwegian Sea at a depth of 1350 meters, is located 340 kilometers west of Bodø. The gas from the field will be phased into the existing Aasta Hansteen platform and transported to the Nyhamna gas processing plant through the Polarled pipeline. From there, Equinor's customers in the UK and continental Europe will get gas through the Langeled pipeline system. Irpa will extend the life of Aasta Hansteen by seven years, from 2032 to 2039. Aasta Hansteen came on stream in December 2018.Equinor

will be at the Mero field. Cordeiro explains: “HISep is a subsea separation and boosting technology that removes in the seabed the excess of gas containing high CO₂ levels and reinjects it directly to the reservoir. It reduces the total volume of gas that reaches topside, debottlenecking the gas processing plant and, consequently, extending the oil production plateau. In this context, HISep shows special potential to add value to high GOR (gas oil ratio), high CO2 content fields like Mero.”Mero´s reservoir fluid has ~45% of CO₂ in the produced gas and GOR around 440 Sm3/Sm3.  Due

. OneSubsea will, in the first phase of the project, do the engineering and design of the complete system. Following the final investment decision by the license group, the complete scope of the EPCI will be executed. The compression system will be powered and controlled from the Nyhamna onshore gas processing plant, which is 120 kilometers from the subsea location. This tieback distance is also a world record for transmitting variable speed power from an onshore facility to equipment on the seabed. The system will be installed at 850 meters water depth and comprises two 16-MW subsea compression stations

survey and positioning services during the pre-lay, lay and post-lay installation of a 42-inch-diameter, 889-kilometer-long pipeline which will connect the Ichthys LNG Project’s offshore central processing facility situated some 200km off the coast of Western Australia with its onshore gas processing plant near Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory. To be installed in water depths up to 275 meters, the pipeline is the longest subsea gas pipeline in the Southern hemisphere and the fifth longest in the world. Offshore activity will commence in May 2014 and it will see UTEC providing

discovery has been made to the government and the Company is preparing to submit a development plan for this discovery as part of a Development Lease application. It is anticipated Begonia-1 will be tied into the existing South Abu El Naga Field flow line which will take the gas to the El Wastani gas processing plant. Once fully developed the field will add around 1,600 boepd of production. The Company’s average output for the first five months was 33,600 boepd in Egypt. Mr Rashid Al-Jarwan, acting CEO, Dana Gas, said: “The Company is pleased to announce another successful well discovery
