IKM Subsea Wins $23.4m contract with Nexans Norway

Nexans Norway and IKM Subsea have signed an agreement for ROV services on CLV  Nexans Skagerrak, CLV Nexans Aurora and third-party vessel support. The contract (three years plus two option years) value including options is $23.4m.IKM Subsea have since 2012 supplied a Merlin WR200 Work class ROV’s onboard on the C/S Nexans Skagerrak. For the new contract, IKM Subsea’s remote operation platform and capacity is a vital part of the service offering. Nexans Wins Hornsea 2 Contract

the 1.4 GW Hornsea 2 is the sister project to Hornsea 1. Ørsted is now constructing the project, with completion set for 2022. Once Hornsea 2 begins operating, it will provide enough electricity to power more than 1.3 million homes. The cables for Hornsea 2 project will be manufactured at Nexans Norway site in Halden.The project will be equipped with Nexans three-core HVAC submarine cables in order to bring the electricity produced by the wind farm onshore. Nexans Wins Cable Contract for Northwester 2 Wind Farm

2 wind farm to the Elia-owned Offshore Switch Yard (OSY) platform connected to Modular Offshore Grid (MOG). The three-core HVAC cable, rated at 220 kV, with state-of-the-art XLPE insulation will be supplied by Nexans in one length. IKM Subsea, Nexans Extend ROV Services Deal

Nexans Norway and IKM Subsea have come to an agreement to extend the current ROV services contracts on board the C/S Nexans Skagerrak.
