Teledyne to Acquire Valeport

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated announced on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Valeport Holdings Limited and its affiliates. Valeport, founded in 1969 and headquartered in Totnes, U.K., designs and manufactures underwater sensors for environmental, energy, construction and defense applications. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.Valeport provides complementary underwater sensors including sound velocity probes, current and flow meters, and conductivity, temperature and depth sensors. Teledyne Acquires ChartWorld International

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated announced today that it has acquired ChartWorld International Limited and affiliates. ChartWorld, headquartered in Cyprus, with additional locations in Hamburg, Singapore, Vancouver and Tokyo, is a provider of digital marine navigation hardware and software provided through a subscription-based model. Argeo Buys Two SeaRaptor AUVs

Norwegian subsea offshore service company Argeo has procured two Teledyne Gavia SeaRaptor 6,000-meter-rated autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV), Teledyne Marine Vehicles, a business of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated announced.The two SeaRaptor AUVs will contribute to Argeo’s growing fleet of AUVs and will enable deep-sea surveys to the benefit of marine industries including offshore wind, aquaculture, deepsea minerals, and offshore oil and gas.The SeaRaptor 6000 AUVs will be equipped with the latest Kraken MinSAS 120 Synthetic Aperture Sonar (Kraken Robotics, Canada) providing large swath

Teledyne Acquires FLIR

Industrial conglomerate Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) said it has completed its acquisition of thermal imaging cameras and sensors company FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLIR). FLIR will now be included in Teledyne’s Digital Imaging segment and operate under the name Teledyne FLIR.Under the terms of the cash-and-stock deal announced in January, FLIR stockholders received $28.00 per share in cash and 0.0718 shares of Teledyne common stock for each FLIR share, which implies a total purchase price of approximately $57.40 per FLIR share based on Teledyne’s closing price on May 13.

Teledyne to Acquire CARIS

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated and CARIS jointly announced that the CARIS business and its international affiliates have agreed to be acquired by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Teledyne. CARIS, headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is a developer of geospatial software designed for the hydrographic and marine community. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Teledyne Bowtech Names Beswick General Manager

most of his career in international roles within the specialist chemical industry. Simon is an engineering graduate and holds an MBA from Oxford University. Beswick succeeds Steve Bowring who leaves the company at the end of April having led the company since its foundation in 1989. Teledyne Technologies Incorporated acquired Bowtech in February 2015.

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated announced that its subsidiary, Teledyne Limited, has acquired C.D. Limited (CDL). Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, CDL is a supplier of subsea inertial navigation systems and motion sensors for a variety of marine applications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
