FairfieldNodal Announces Contracts for new ZLand Nodes

FairfieldNodal has signed contracts that will put 60,000 of its new Land true cable-free nodes to work for the seismic acquisition division of a worldwide geophysical solutions company. This comes within two months of beginning manufacturing of its latest generation nodes, FairfieldNodal said.

ZLand nodes are now available in two variations. The cable-free 1C model is smaller and lighter weight than before, which adds to its easy and safe deployment attributes. It also allows a contractor to add external sensors if the need to do so ever arises. A new 3C model has all components completely self-contained, which allows the node to be buried safely out of sight as it acquires 3C data.

ZLand nodes work with FairfieldNodal’s new Z100 transition nodes, which make it easy and quick for contractors to acquire seamless data from land to water depths down to 100 meters. They are also compatible with any other land and marine systems.
