Marine and coastal environment specialist, BMT Oceanica (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd  has recently had its Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Management System certified as meeting the requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001, OHSAS 18001:2007, AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 and AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.

The HSEQ Management System also meets the strict requirements of Chevron Australia Pty Ltd's Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management (CHESM) system and of Rio Tinto’s Contractor Management System.

The international accreditations reinforce BMT Oceanica’s commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental responsibility. This highlights BMT Oceanica’s aim to consistently exceed our customer’s expectations and ensures that clients have confidence in BMT Oceanica as a supplier who will uphold their commitments in these areas.

Mark Bailey, Co-Managing Director of BMT Oceanica commented, "Health, safety, quality and environmental responsibility have always been the cornerstones of our business.  Achieving formal accreditation provides our clients with added confidence in the integrity of our management systems and the commitment of all staff to continual improvement.  I would like to thank our suppliers and clients for their cooperation and support to help us achieve this important milestone.”
