Organisers, Subsea UK, are confident that the awards dinner, now a major part of Subsea Expo, will be one of the best ever and that the exhibition and conference will be the biggest in the event’s history.
Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK, said, “The caliber and number of entries demonstrates the strength of the subsea sector in the U.K. Many of the most respected and innovative companies in the industry are featured, along with new, innovative start-ups.
“As Subsea UK enters its 10th year, we are looking to increase our connectivity with global subsea hubs to ensure we promote British subsea capabilities far and wide, identifying opportunities for our members and help them further their global reach. The awards seek to remind us just how impressive British innovation and know-how is.
“Our flagship event, now re-branded as Subsea Expo, has grown from a small gathering of 200 people to a globally recognized, ‘must-attend’ event for anyone and everyone in subsea around the world.”
For the first time, the event will extend to three days (February 5-7) with the final day offering an opportunity to engage with the next generation of subsea engineers, project managers and technicians.
