Seafarer Exploration Corp. has been granted a two-year extension to the environmental permit for the Juno Beach site to December 9, 2015.

Kyle Kennedy (Seafarer CEO) said: " We continue to see progress on the Juno Beach project. We have located some interesting artifacts which may further help to determine the time frame of this potentially sizable colonial era shipwreck. Each artifact helps articulate a piece of history and we hope to eventually answer a lot of additional questions about the site's past such as the name of the ship, how it wrecked, and what it was carrying, among many others."

Mr. Kennedy continued, "We are also in the process of completing an archaeological Research Design to be submitted to the Florida Bureau of Archaeological Research in order to eventually receive our third permit. The history and copious amount of recorded data our archaeologist have in their possession on this third site is very enlightening. Especially when combined with some of the historic artifacts already found and believed to be in the possession of the State of Florida, lends credence to the potential historic and archaeological significance of this site."
