Underwater Technology Seminar: ‘Bigger and Better’

Teledyne Marine’s Underwater Technology Seminar 15 (UTS15) is scheduled to take place October 4-7 in San Diego, Calif.
 
According to the organizers, UTS15 has become bigger and better this year as an integrated part of the Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop, hosted by 13 of Teledyne’s top-tier instrument manufacturers, including Teledyne RESON, Teledyne BlueView, Teledyne Odom Hydrographic and Teledyne ATLAS Hydrographic.
 
The three-day workshop will include customer presentations, product/software training, field service meetings, networking opportunities and on-water demonstrations. Attendees can experience four different tracks of customer presentations under the headlines: offshore energy, oceanographic research/ hydrography, civil engineering river/ stream monitoring and security/ defense. 
 
Among the demonstrated products are:
  • SeaBat 7130 high resolution forward-looking bathymetry and imaging multibeam sonar from Teledyne RESON 
  • SeaBat T20-P high performance portable Dual Head multibeam from Teledyne RESON
  • The newly launched fully integrated MB2 multibeam sonar from Teledyne Odom Hydrographic 
  • 3D multibeam scanning sonar corrected for motion and 2D multibeam imaging sonar on a ROV from Teledyne BlueView 
  • MotionScan: 3D Multibeam scanning sonar from a surface vessel corrected for motion and position 
  • 2D forward looking multibeam imaging sonar demonstrations
