Aqueos Wraps Up Subsea Inspections Offshore California

Subsea services firm Aqueos Corporation announced Friday it recently completed a diving and remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) campaign on the US West Coast.The work scope included level III and IV subsea surveys of three large conventional jacket structures off the coast of California as part of an ongoing structural integrity review of the jackets, and included detailed inspection of welds.Both Close Visual Inspection (CVI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) methods were used thoughout the jackets, in water depths ranging up to 365 meters. DSV Completes US Northeast Campaign

Aqueos Corporation said it has wrapped up saturation diving and remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) campaigns for multiple clients in the US Northeast.The saturation diving vessel DP2 DSV Kelly Ann Candies was used to conduct inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) work on multiple liquefied natural gas (LNG) offloading facilities in the area in depths down to about 107 meters water depth. Subsea services company Aqueos Corporation said it has entered into a multi-year agreement with vessel owner Otto Candies for the charter of the US-built multi-role DP-2 diving support vessel (DSV) Kelly Ann Candies.The high spec vessel has a built-in 14-man Draeger saturation diving system complete with three-man bell, moon-pool bell launch with cursor, self propelled hyperbaric lifeboat (SPHL), 60-ton crane and berthing for 76 persons. Aqueos Supports South Texas-Tuxpan Gas Pipeline

Aqueos Corporation said it has completed a major diving scope for the installation and commissioning of the South Texas-Tuxpan Gas Pipeline. The South Texas-Tuxpan Gas Pipeline is being constructed by a joint venture between TransCanada (60%) and Sempra Energy’s Mexican unit IEnova (40%), also known as Infraestructura Marina del Golfo (IMG). Aqueos Wins GoM Contract

Subsea services provider Aqueos Corporation said it has been awarded a major contract for a large pipeline installation project located in the Gulf of Mexico. Aqueos said the contract, which commenced in December 2017 and will be completed in the first half of 2018, will support shallow-water pipeline installations in water depths up to 100 feet. The work scope will utilize the Aqueos diving support vessel (DSV) SPLASH, with surface dive teams utilizing its jet propulsion and built in NITROX diving system. Bibby Subsea Completes Decommissioning Work for Shell
