Energy industry services firm EnerMech has secured a contract from oil company LLOG for pre-commissioning services at the Salamanca platform in the Gulf of America.The contract covers hydrotesting and nitrogen dewatering of three 8-inch infield flowlines, one 16-inch oil export pipeline and one 10-inch gas export pipeline. EnerMech Secures Subsea 7 Australia Contract
EnerMech has been awarded its first contract by Subsea 7 in the Australian oil and gas market. The mechanical engineering group will perform a range of subsea flowline and umbilical pre-commissioning on the Woodside-operated North West Shelf (NWS) Project’s Persephone project and North Rankin Complex in Western Australia. The workscope includes flooding, hydro-testing and dewatering of flow lines & well jumpers and testing all hydraulic, electrical and optical cores on the main line umbilical, EFL’s and HFL’s with work expected to start this month (December).

EnerMech Acquisitions Extend its Presence in US, Africa
Oil and gas engineering specialist, EnerMech, has extended its international presence in the cranes and lifting and valves sectors with two acquisitions in the USA and Africa. The combined value of the deals is said to be approximately £4 million and are forecast to add an extra £25 million to group revenues over the next three years. EnerMech Tests Subsea Flowlines with STM
As part of a recent North Sea pipeline project, EnerMech were contracted to flood and hydro test offshore subsea flowlines. The testing operations were to be conducted in standard industry fashion by using a vessel-based downline spread. This meant the vessel would need to remain connected to the flowlines via the downline throughout the test period, adding to client cost.
