Intertek, a total quality assurance provider to industries worldwide, has launched a new remotely operated vehicle (ROV) potable water tank inspection service that offers clients the option of using ROVs to inspect large-capacity water tanks. Potable water tank inspection must be carried out periodically to mitigate health risks to those working on offshore platforms or in other facilities that require their use. Intertek Launches Decommissioning Services

Intertek Contracted for Chevron's Wheatstone Project

Intertek announced that it has been awarded the dimensional control contract by Bechtel for the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project in Western Australia. Under the terms of the contract, Intertek will deploy multiple dimensional control survey teams to provide geometric assurance during the fabrication of modules at the Wheatstone Project module yards in Malaysia and China.
