EdgeTech and Sonarwiz Training at STR

Subsea Technology & Rentals Ltd. (STR) announced it will hold industry training which includes Chesapeake SonarWiz Software Training from November 10-12, and EdgeTech Sidescan and Sub-Bottom Training from November 12-14 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Chesapeake Technology has offered sonar mapping software to the marine geophysical and geological survey industries for more than 20 years. The three-day training course offers classroom-based hands on training with the developer of SonarWiz’s full featured side-scan, sub-bottom, bathymetry and magnetometer software suite. The course offers on-the-water SonarWiz data acquisition training using EdgeTech sidescan and sub-bottom profiling systems.

EdgeTech, a company in high resolution sonar imaging systems and underwater technology is offering a sidescan and sub-bottom profiling training course. This three day course will cover sonar theory, operational training, system maintenance and post processing data in SonarWiz.

Monday – Tuesday: SonarWiz Classroom
Wednesday: SonarWiz & EdgeTech on the water boat training
Thursday – Friday: EdgeTech – Classroom
