Norwegian marine technology company Kongsberg Maritime has opened a new office at the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia based Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE) to further support its Canadian operations. The company’s new office will give it access to an eight-acre site, a 13-acre water lot and 2,850 feet of docks and piers and Kongsberg will have access to office, shop and lab space at the ocean technology center which operates as a collaborative hub for applied innovation in the ocean sector and mainly aims to support the commercialization of ocean technology.

Kongsberg Maritime Canada sales manager Nick Burchill commented: “Our presence at COVE is a logical extension of our established Dartmouth office. COVE keeps us in touch with developments in the local ocean-tech sector and brings us closer to our customers and industry partners.”
