Black Laser Learning Contracted to Update Navy Training Programs

Black Laser Learning, Inc. is set to provide critical training updates through live seminars and training DVDs to Navy sonar operators with the latest techniques required for the Navy’s newly-upgraded UUV systems.

Changes and modifications to the U.S. Navy’s UUV (unmanned underwater vehicles) system sonars require updated training programs for Navy operators. Black Laser Learning Inc., (BLL) a company that has provided sonar training to the Navy for over 10 years, will provide the latest updates for UUVs through BLL’s live training seminars and DVD instructional programs.

New, more advanced sonars operating on autonomous vehicles require the existing training to reflect different systems now being utilized by forward deployed units. Whether conventional or synthetic aperture, changes to the systems produce better imagery than previous systems. Navy units must train with the most up-to-date systems deployed, and BLL’s new training programs reflect the new system upgrades.
