Subsea robotics company streamlines production for its navigation and control systems
Greensea Systems, Inc. announced that Jason LaShelle has joined the firm as Production Manager. LaShelle will plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes for the company, ensuring a high level of efficiency.
LaShelle comes to Greensea from the United States Coast Guard, where he was in charge of systems integration and quality assurance. He has a BS in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently working on his MS in Operations and Project Management at Southern New Hampshire University. He also holds certifications as a USCG approved 100 Ton Master Captain and a Rescue SCUBA diver.
At Greensea, LaShelle’s disciplined approach will add new dimensions to the organization’s productivity. He is building systems and procedures for manufacturing to enable Greensea to scale as a company. In addition, LaShelle is managing large, complex projects for Greensea clients Schmidt Ocean Institute and Vulcan.
“Greensea is growing and expanding into several new markets,” said Marybeth Gilliam, Greensea’s Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President. “In 2016, we will deliver integrated navigation and control systems for manned, unmanned, surface and subsea vehicles.”
