Calesurvey’s newest vessel Kommandor Calum returned to Norwegian waters last week to mobilize for a multiple single pass site survey program for another major Norwegian operator. This follows the completion of ROV environmental and geophysical site surveys offshore Norway and a UXO cable route survey in the Baltic utilizing dual gradiometer array and Cougar ROV.

Gary Thirkettle, Sales Manager, Calecore said “Just recently launched in April this year, the Kommandor Calumhas proven to be a timely and excellent addition to our fleet. With the current high demand for complex geophysical and geotechnical ROV site survey services we have been able to offer a third single platform vessel solution to our clients”.

An 80m twin engine, site investigation vessel, she has been specifically designed to maximize the voluminous nature of the heavily built hull for safe, sustained and comfortable operations. Capabilities include 2D exploration, 2DHR, SBP arrays, deep water high resolution and dedicated mid ship A-frames and crane for handling seabed geo technics, environmental and ROVs.
