New Remotely Controlled Multibeam Survey System

Provider of specialized survey equipment to the hydrographic and geophysical survey community, Seafloor Systems, Inc. has released its EchoBoat-RCV remotely controlled survey vessel with integrated multibeam echosounder.
 
Following testing and trials, the EchoBoat multibeam system is now available for purchase and rental to conduct high-resolution surveys for inspection, engineering and construction projects. The system can be operated from shore with remote desktop control to enable the user to calibrate the system as well as carry out accurate and detailed hydrographic surveys.
 
The annual Oceanographic issue explores deep sea oxygen research, sonar technology, carbon sequestration, and subsea defense trends.
