Kraken AUV Prequalified for Canada’s BCIP
The Canadian Government has notified Kraken Robotics Inc. subsidiary, Kraken Robotic Systems Inc., that its Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) application has been approved. The company has been prequalified into the program for its ThunderFish 300 Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) for military and scientific applications. Connor Joins Kraken Board
Kraken Robotics Inc. announced that retired Vice Admiral Michael J. Connor, U.S. Navy, has joined its Board of Directors. In a 35-year career in which he rose to the rank of Vice Admiral in the U.S. Navy, Connor commanded at the ship, squadron and task force levels. Kraken Sonar Changes Its Name to Kraken Robotics
Kraken Sonar Inc. has changed its name from Kraken Sonar Inc. to Kraken Robotics Inc., reflecting its evolution from manufacturing sensors to supplying complete robotic systems, software and services in the unmanned maritime systems (UMS) market.
