Bourbon Orders Exail Tech to Streamline Subsea Fleet’s Services for Offshore Energy

UK-based Exail has secured a contract with French maritime services provider Bourbon to supply several units of its Octans Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) for integration into Bourbon Subsea Services’s fleet.These units will be installed on multiple Bourbon Evolution 800 Series multi-purpose support vessels (MPSVs) dedicated to subsea operations at depths down to 3,000 meters.IMO-HSC certified, the Octans AHRS will enhance Bourbon vessels’ efficiency in installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for the oil and gas, and offshore wind industries, according to Exail.Providing

Mooreast to Anchor Floating Offshore Wind Farm in Southern France

Singapore-based mooring and anchoring specialist Mooreast Holdings has secured an order to supply its proprietary anchors for Eolmed pre-commercial floating offshore wind farm.Mooreast has partnered with French installation contractor Bourbon Offshore to supply Mooreast’s MA5S mooring drag anchors for the Eolmed project located off the Port-La Nouvelle and Gruissan in Southern France.Bourbon will provide transport and installation services to the 30MW pre-commercial project, which is being developed by Qair, a European independent energy company, with TotalEnergies and floating technology

Eolmed Floating Wind Farm Starts Taking Shape in Mediterranean Sea

Bourbon Subsea Services has installed a floating electrical hub (FEH) at the Eolmed floating offshore wind farm in France, completing the first stage of the 30 MW project.The FEH for the pilot floating farm was installed off Portla-Nouvelle in southern France in fall 2023.This project will involve three 10 MW-rated wind turbines, supplied by Vestas, that will be capable of producing more than 110 million kWh/year by 2025, which is equivalent to the electricity consumption of 50,000 inhabitants.The FEH will be connected to the three wind turbines on one side and the shore connection cable on the other

JDR to Provide Inter-array Cables for 30MW Floating Offshore Wind Project in Mediterranean Sea

Bourbon to Install Eolmed Floating Wind Farm in Mediterranean Sea

Bourbon Offshore to Manage DRASSM Subsea Research Vessels
