MDL to Support Maersk Supply Service for Work at Mero Field Off Brazil

Maersk Supply Service has awarded Scottish flex-lay specialist Maritime Developments (MDL) a solution-development scope in the Mero block in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.The scope entails the development of an integrated spread of equipment and expert personnel to support installation of a dynamic riser assembly, which will enable connection to a grid of  Permanent Reservoir Monitoring (PRM) sensors over wells of Mero 1 and Mero 2 projects in the basin’s ultra-deep waters.Besides the dynamic cable riser, complete with DUTA and pigtails, the PRM network also consists of backbone cables

Enauta Set to Receive Key Equipment for Atlanta Field Offshore Brazil

The first multiphase pumping subsea system (MPP), that will support oil and gas production at the Atlanta field in Brazil's Santos Basin, has been shipped from Norway, Brazilian oil and gas company Enauta has informed.The MPP, manufactured by OneSubsea, was loaded on January 21, 2024, in Norway ahead of shipping for Brazil.The delivery of the equipment according to the schedule highlighted one of the key challenges to reach FPSO Atlanta’s first oil aimed by August 2024, according to Enauta, which is the operator of the Atlanta field.“According to data presented at the Enauta Day

CRP Subsea Put to Work at Brazilian Oil Field

CRP Subsea, an AIS company, has secured a ‘substantial contract’ for the supply of distributed buoyancy modules (DBMs) to a deepwater oil field project in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.CRP Subsea secured was hired by a leading energy technology company, whose name was not disclosed.The company DBMs will be utilised on a flexible production riser transporting oil from the subsea facility to the floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel above.Specifically engineered, the DBMs will establish a dynamic subsea lazy-wave configuration to mitigate the top tension on the FPSO.

PXGEO Bags 4D OBN Project in Brazil

Marine geophysical service provider PXGEO on Monday announced it has secured a contract with Brazilian state-owned energy company Petrobras for a 4D Monitor Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) survey in the Santos Basin, Brazil.The survey is to be acquired in water depths up to 2,200 meters with a duration of approximately seven months.

CRP Subsea Secures 'Major' Contract for Deepwater Oil Field Project in Brazil

UK-based CRP Subsea has recently won a "major" contract from an unnamed "leading energy technology company," AIS, CRP's parent company, said this week.CRP Subsea will deliver 333 distributed buoyancy modules (DBMs) for a deepwater oil field project located in the pre-salt Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.Distributed buoyancy modules (DBMs) are typically used between structures and a surface vessel or platform, providing uplift generated by a two-part buoyancy element and a clamp.For this latest contract, CRP Subsea’s DBMs will be used on three flexible production risers

Marine geophysical service provider PXGEO announced it has secured a contract with the Sépia Consortium for a 3D ocean bottom node (OBN) survey in the Santos Basin, Brazil.
