PSW Technology Secures 3-Year Deal with Norwegian Oil Firm for Capping Stack Services

Scana's PSW Technology has signed a frame agreement with an unnamed Norwegian oil and gas operator for Capping Stack & Support Services. The contract consists of a fixed period of 3 years with a 2+2-year option. The value of the frame agreement is defined as a sizable contract if both options are exercised.For Scana, a sizable contract is defined to be between NOK 20 million and NOK 50 million.The company will be responsible for the provision of capping stack and related well control equipment, and emergency response services. The contract period will start in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Scana's Subseatec Nets 'Sizeable' Contract for US Gulf of Mexico Subsea Project

Scana-owned Subseatec has signed a "sizeable" contract with an unnamed international energy company to deliver steel stress joints for a subsea development in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM). Subseatec’s scope is a total delivery of steel stress joints in low-alloy steel, including engineering and procurement. Scana's Seasystems to Provide Mooring Solution for World's First Floating Tidal Energy Array

Scana’s subsidiary Seasystems has secured a contract for the mooring of the world’s first floating tidal energy array,  the Pempa’q In-stream Tidal Energy Project in Minas Passage in Nova Scotia, Canada. When completed, the project run by Scottish Sustainable Marine will provide up to nine megawatts of electricity to the province’s power grid. Scana Offshore Wins Offshore Wind Contract

Kvaerner ASA awarded Scana Offshore AS a contract for the supply of mooring equipment to Hywind Tampen, Equinor's new floating wind farm. The contract is Scana Offshore's first hardware contract in the floating wind power market.The delivery from Scana Offshore will consist of 33 hull brackets, which are used to attach anchoring lines to the hulls on the 11 offshore wind turbines that make up the Hywind Tampen wind farm.
