Gilliam Named Greensea's Chief Marketing Officer

Subsea robotics company Greensea Systems advances sales and marketing for its unmanned navigation and control systems
 
Marybeth Gilliam has joined the Greensea Systems as Chief Marketing Officer.
 
Gilliam will help develop and implement a worldwide marketing strategy for the company's vehicle automation and navigation systems, working directly with Greensea's President and CEO, Ben Kinnaman, to further commercialize Greensea's current products, Balefire and Endal, as well as any new technology developed by Greensea's talented engineers.
 
Gilliam brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in market research, marketing, branding, and sales, including 14 years managing her own company.
 
Gilliam received her BA from the University of Vermont. She worked for New York advertising firms Lord Dentsu & Partners and TBWA Chiat Day before helping to grow a small creative shop called Hampel Stefanides. Gilliam was chosen to open the West Coast office of Hampel Stefanides and served as their VP, Director of Client services. She eventually left to start her own business.
 
During her career Gilliam worked with several of George Lucas's businesses including Lucas Arts, Lucas Learning and the George Lucas Education Foundation where she was instrumental in developing an award-winning media kit. Some of her other clients included SoundHound, NEC Technologies, Micron, Eisenhower Medical Center and El Camino Hospital. Marybeth's experience includes a background in research and planning. She was recently the lead researcher on an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) grant-funded study that was conducted for understanding how technology can positively affect patient engagement.
