Paradigm Flow Services Doubles Turnover to £10 Million
Rising demand for offshore blockage removal technologies has boosted turnover at Paradigm Flow Services, as the company announces it has almost doubled its figures. The Aberdeenshire-based firm achieved £10.7 million turnover in 2013, nearly twice the 2012 level of £5.4 million. As the blockage removal experts for the oil and gas sector, Paradigm Flow Services is focused on new technology and has brought two developments to market this year so far.
BOEM to Open Bids for Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale

Study Reveals US Atlantic Margin Methane Seep Expansion
A study conducted by Mississippi State University researchers, the U.S. Geological Survey and other institutions, reveals that the natural methane leakage from the U.S. Atlantic margin seafloor extends beyond prior knowledge gathered on the issue. Methane plumes identified in the water column between Cape Hatteras, North Carolina and Georges Bank, Massachusetts, are emanating from at least 570 seafloor cold seeps on the outer continental shelf and the continental slope.
