WFN Strategies has gained international recognition for its quality management system.
Submarine cable system implementation company WFN Strategies has, after two years of development, successfully achieved accredited certification to the ISO 9001 international standard for quality management.
ISO 9001 is a quality management standard that was developed by the International Organization for Standardization – an association of governmental and nongovernmental organizations from many countries. The ISO 9001 standard is utilized to certify quality management systems that focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and the active involvement of both management and employees in a process based approach.
The ISO 9001 standard features a high-level structure: including terms, definitions, headings and text common to all management system standards in accordance to ISO Annex SL – allowing easier integration when implementing multiple management systems. The standard improves over previous revisions by requiring organizations to prioritize business needs, improving efficiency by implementing organizational-wide risk based thinking, better risk management, and enhanced leadership responsibility.
“Our ISO 9001 process has been developed over the last two years with an outside quality team in order to work hand-in-hand and seamlessly with our PM 2.0 Project Management system while maintaining excellence in work product in accordance with robust international standards,” said Managing Director Wayne Nielsen. “WFN Strategies is honored to be the first submarine cable implementation organization to achieve compliance to the ISO 9001 standard.”
