  • What is an S-101 ENC and how does it relate to S-100?

  • What are some other products based on S-100?

The workshop is organized into six parts, each containing a set of related chapters and is comprised of text with diagrams, screen captures and other illustrations; optional activities to review background information from web pages, PDF files and videos; and ccreen captures illustrating S-100 concepts implemented in the CARIS S-57 Composer desktop electronic chart production software, which supports creating, editing and exporting S-100 products.

Participants can proceed through the training materials at their own pace on any computer with internet access. The workshop is freely available for CARIS users with an active Subscription, or for a $300 fee per user for non-CARIS users or those without Subscription.
