Bladt Loadout Offshore Platform Structures

Denmark's Bladt Industries says it is nearly ready for another project handover as a 1100 tonnes topside, a 2200 tonnes four-legged jacket and 12 piles weighing a total of 1700 tonnes were loaded on to a barge for supply to a North Sea drilling platform.

Bladt add that the loadout is due be completed shortly when the connecting bridge is lifted onto the barge – adding up to just under 5,800 tonnes of steel structures on the barge.

The EPC project, fabricated by Bladt for Maersk Oil & Gas, will serve as an extension of the already existing Tyra Southeast A platform.

The next step is the sea fastening to ready the barge for shipment of the structures to their final destination in the North Sea.
