Kraken Robotics Wins $6 Million Order for Subsea Batteries

Kraken Robotics Inc. announced it has received orders totaling more than $6 million for subsea batteries.The Canadian-based marine technology company did not disclose details about the customer or application.Kraken said it expects to perform deliveries in 2024 and 2025.

Kraken Wins Seabed Survey Contract in Australia

Kraken Robotics Inc. will supply high-resolution seabed mapping sonar service to Precision Hydrographic Services (PHS), a customer supporting the Australian Department of Defence.  The Australian Department of Defence has awarded PHS a program to collect Hydrographic High Resolution Route Surveys (RS) for a number of Australian ports. Kraken Robotics Secures $3M Offshore Wind Farm Survey Services Deal in Europe

Canadian marine robotics company Kraken Robotics Inc. said Thursday it had secured a $3 million contract to carry out boulder detection subsea survey services as part of an offshore wind farm project located in Europe.Kraken’s contract scope includes mobilization of a dedicated survey vessel, deployment of optimal sub-bottom survey equipment, and expert personnel to provide specialist engineering design support to de-risk the installation of the project’s two large offshore substations. This survey campaign will be executed in Q4 2023 with Kraken’s Acoustic Corer technology

Kraken Robotics Appoints Adu as Head of Services Business

Canadian marine robotics company Kraken Robotics Inc. said Tuesday that Lynne Adu will take over leadership of Kraken’s Services business, expanding her current role as Vice President of Commercials at Kraken. In 2018, Adu joined PanGeo Subsea as General Manager and VP Commercial. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, Adu has an MBA and more than 25 years of experience in a variety of management roles in offshore oil and gas and offshore services.Kraken is also announcing the retirement of Moya Cahill, previously Kraken’s EVP of Services as well as co-founder of PanGeo Subsea. Greg Reid

Kraken inks $2.7m in Sonar, Subsea Battery Contracts

Kraken Robotics Inc. (TSX-V: PNG, OTCQB: KRKNF) received contracts totalling $2.7m for subsea batteries and synthetic aperture sonar systems (SAS). The SAS sensor contracts represent two new customers, continuing the growth of Kraken's list of users. One customer is a European Research Institute operating next-generation AUVs, and the other is a NATO member country in underwater defense applications. Deliveries will occur in 2024.

Kraken Robotics Reports Strong Q2

Kraken Robotics Inc. has announced solid financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2023.Products revenue in the quarter was $10.5 million, an increase of 24% over the comparable quarter. The increase was the result of continued sales of KATFISH, subsea batteries, work with the Canadian Navy on its RMDS program as well as the sale of synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) systems.  Services revenue in the quarter was $3.2 million, a decrease of 45% over the comparable quarter due to a large Acoustic Corer project in the comparable quarter a year ago. Kraken Robotics Wins $16m Order for SeaPower Batteries

Kraken Robotics Inc. (TSX-V: PNG, OTCQB: KRKNF), has received a purchase order for subsea batteries valued at $16 million. Deliveries will occur in 2023 and 2024. The purchase order includes a significant advance payment. With this order Kraken has now received more than $30 million of purchase orders in the last six months for its SeaPower subsea batteries. Since the beginning of 2022, Kraken has announced more than $120 million of contracts.

Kraken Wins $50+ Million Contract for Royal Canadian Navy Minehunting

Canadian marine technology company Kraken Robotics Inc. on Wednesday announced it has been awarded a prime contract with the Government of Canada to provide Remote Minehunting and Disposal Systems (RMDS) for the Department of National Defense (DND).
