Nortek AS and Seatronics do Brasil announced a new sales and service partnership in Brazil. In addition to being appointed as Nortek’s exclusive distributor in Brazil, Seatronics will act as Nortek’s Service Center in Brazil, offering comprehensive maintenance and repair services for all of Nortek’s customers in Brazil.

Nortek will maintain its subsidiary in the country, Nortek Brasil. Under the leadership of Paloma Cortez, Nortek Brasil will be responsible for supporting Seatronics and other customers in the oceanographic and laboratory research communities, in addition to growing Nortek’s business in other market segments and regions in the country.

David Velasco, Sales and Business Development Manager for Nortek AS expressed his enthusiasm for the new relationship: “With offices in Rio de Janeiro and Macaé, the competency to navigate the difficult import/export regime, and the facilities and people to support a full Service Center, Seatronics brought a lot to the table,” he said. “Having both our own subsidiary and a representative allows us to support all present and future Nortek customers in Brazil.”

A global company in the rental and sale of marine electronic equipment, Seatronics do Brasil is part of the Seatronics Group, an Acteon company.

“Seatronics has recently increased its local commercial and technical team to successfully supply and service the unique range of Nortek equipment in Brazil,” said Fabio D’Agostino, Vice President at Seatronics do Brasil.
