Kraken Robotics has been awarded a contract for a specialized sub-seabed survey to map the exact location and integrity of buried pipelines.The contract, valued at $1 million, will be completed in the first half of 2024. Canadian marine robotics company Kraken Robotics said Monday it had supplied high-resolution seabed mapping sonar equipment to the Royal Australian Navy. Kraken delivered its KATFISH high-speed high-definition seabed awareness solution in Q2, and recently completed system integration and sea trials in Cairns, Australia. Kraken inks $2.7m in Sonar, Subsea Battery Contracts
Kraken Robotics Inc. (TSX-V: PNG, OTCQB: KRKNF) received contracts totalling $2.7m for subsea batteries and synthetic aperture sonar systems (SAS). The SAS sensor contracts represent two new customers, continuing the growth of Kraken's list of users. Kraken Robotics Inc. (TSX-V: PNG, OTCQB: KRKNF), has received a purchase order for subsea batteries valued at $16 million. Deliveries will occur in 2023 and 2024.
